PURPOSE:To extend the life of an electrostatic filter so as to allow the same to coincide with the life of an ozone decomposing filter by automatically taking up the electrostatic filter corresponding to a deodorizing operation time and detecting the passage of the taking-up quantity discriminating body of the electrostatic filter by a taking-up quantity detection means to turn a drive motor OFF. CONSTITUTION:The open air is introduced into a deodorizer main body 1 from a suction part 11 by driving a blower 5 and mixed with ozone to decompose and remove a malodorous component. At this time, when a predetermined deodorizing operation time is clocked by a timer 23, a control circuit turns a drive motor 20 ON on the basis of the output signal of the timer 23 to take up an electrostatic filter 8. The passage of the taking-up quantity discriminating body 24 of the electrostatic filter 8 is detected by a taking-up quantity detection means 25 to turn the drive motor 20 OFF. Therefore, the life of the electrostatic filter can be extended and the electrostatic filter is always taken up in fixed taking-up quantity. |
