<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a culture substrate effective for suppressing the proliferation of glia cell in vitro and enabling stable culture of nerve cell by coating a polyhydroxyethyl methacrylate with a basic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A polyhydroxyethyl methacrylate is coated with a basic polymer (e.g. polylysine, polyornithine, polyethyleneimine, polallylamine and polyalginic acid). Proliferation of glia cell can be suppressed without adding a proliferation suppressing agent to the medium.</p> |
