<p>The present invention relates to a novel medical use of interferon- gamma . This invention describes that interferon- gamma can be used for the treatment of all forms of interstitial lung diseases. The invention reveals in addition that, above all, a combinatorial administration of interferon- gamma together with a glucocorticoid may be used successfully even for the long-term therapy of said disease.</p>
