<p>The semiconductor transmission-reception device for modulated optical waves includes a substrate (90) on which three components are integrated in monolithic structure. The first component (92) has an active layer operating at a first wavelength (lambda-1) to transmit modulated light. The second component (94) has an active layer operating at a second wavelength (lambda-2), greater than lambda-1, with the component able to detect light of this wavelength. A third component (96,98) separates the first and second components from each other and is able to absorb the light of the first wavelength (lambda-1) without absorbing that of the second wavelength. The three components are designed to reduce the diaphotonic effect arising in the second component as a result of the modulated light of the first wavelength provided by the first component.</p> |
