PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the production of formed boiled rice, keeping specified shape, easily disintegrated on eating as a hand-shaped SUSHI (vinegared rice topped with fish) and enabling the eating in a soft state even at a certain time after it is formed, and enable the easy removing of the lower mold and the reduction in collapse of the formed boiled rice in the case where the formed boiled rice is prepared by a SUSHI robot. SOLUTION: A formed boiled rice 40 having middle dents in the longitudinal direction is automatically formed by using an upper mold 33 having a curved surface for forming the upper surface of the formed boiled rice and a protrusion for forming the middle dent in the longitudinal direction, and a lower mold 34 having the first and the second inclination parts for forming the lower surface and further a protrusion for forming the middle dent in the longitudinal direction. |
