<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch driver's aim precisely and switch automatic/manual operation respectively without any switch by driving and controlling a motor based on target steering amount calculated from an automatic steering unit or target steering amount calculated from a power steering control unit according to respective modes set by a switch control unit. SOLUTION: A switch control unit 18 for outputting a switch signal to an automatic steering control unit 12 when a torque sensor output is less than a threshold value and also setting to a power steering mode when the output is more than designated threshold value is disposed in the automatic steering control unit 12. A power steering control unit 14 for calculating target steering amount for supporting or restraining steering force from a driver according to traveling state of a vehicle when the power steering mode is set by this switch control unit 18 is disposed. A motor drive control unit 16 for driving and controlling a motor 2 based on the target steering amount calculated by the automatic steering control unit 12 or the power steering control unit 14 is disposed in the motor 2.</p> |
