<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a wide living room space in a small attic and improve the horizontal durability of a post leg portion by erecting the lower end of a steep up-grade beam on a tie beam through the short post leg to dispose a knee brace spanning the post leg and tie beam. SOLUTION: The upper ends of steep up-grade beams 5... are connected to the lower ends of gentle up-grade beams 4... to constitute a buckling type mansard frames 3.... In this constitution, the lower ends of the steep up-grade beams 5 are erected on tie beams 2, 2 in the horizontal part on the underside of the beam 5 through the short post legs 7, 7. Knee braces 14, 14 spanning the post leg 7 and tie beam 2 are disposed in the direction in the surface of the mansard frame 3. Thus, a wide living room space can be ensured in a small attic while a triangle is constituted by the knee braces 14 in the post leg 7 portion to improve the horizontal strength.</p> |
