<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning filter with high adsorption vol. and low pressure loss when adsorption is operated by flocking an active carbon fiber with a specified vol. of fine pores having a specified diameter on a reticulated base material. SOLUTION: A reticulated flocked filter is prepd. by flocking an active carbon fiber with a vol. of fine pores (having a fine pore diameter of 10-100 angstrom) of 0.25-1.1cc/g on a reticulated base material, pref. a reticulated base material with an aperture rate of 50-98% by means of electric flocking. In addition, a reticulated flocked filter wherein 3-50 pts.wt. amines and a mineral acid or 3-50 pts.wt. mineral acid, base, oxidizing agent or persimmon juice liq. are incorporated and sticked to 100 pts.wt. active carbon fiber, is provided. Odor of an aldehyde such as acetaldehyde being the main component of tabacco odor and ammonia derived from pets are adsorbed and removed by the reticulated flocked filter thus obtd.</p> |
