PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a replacement unit for the easy replacement of consumables and exchange parts and a portable printing device equipped with the replace ment unit by providing a means for cleaning the surface of an image carrier after the formation of an image by the image carrier which forms the image by transferring a mirror transfer image formed on the surface to a recording medium. SOLUTION: A roller 2 is installed on the tip of a holder 12 on a replacement unit 13 in freely rotatable manner centered around a rotary center shaft 8, and on the lateral side of the roller 2, a cleaning member 9 consisting of a cloth is arranged in such a manner that the member 9 comes into contact with the surface of the roller 2. In addition, on the lateral side of the roller 2, a gear 11 which is rotated with the rotation of the roller 2 is provided, and on the holder 12, positioning holes 24a, 24b for engaging with positioning extrusions 124a, 124b and clamping, provided at the lower part of a chassis 14 for a printing device main part 1, are arranged. The replacement unit 13 is positioned by fitting the positioning protrusions 124a, 124b into the positioning holes 24a, 24b, and are accurately mounted. |
