PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water in oil type emulsion compsn. high in safety and having no irritation against the skin by stably emulsifying and dispersing a large amt. of aq. components with a small amt. of an activator. SOLUTION: This water in oil type emulsion compsn. contains sugar fatty acid esters (a), an oily component (b) and water (c) as essential components and is characterized by that the component (c) is 93% or more by wt. of the sum total amt. of the components (a), (b), (c) and at least 20wt.% of constitutional fatty acids of the component (a) is an 8-18C saturated fatty acid or a 16-22C unsaturated fatty acid and the contents of polyesters the component (a) are 95wt.% or more. This compsn. is produced by adding 0.01-10% by vol. solid insoluble in the mixture of the components (a), (b), (c) per the sum total amt. of these three components to the mixture system of three components (a), (b), (c) under stirring. |
