PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner in which a bottom plate made of a synthetic resin can be reinforced with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A substantially U-shaped holder 2b and an in inverted -shaped holding piece are provided along the extension line of a plurality of recesses 2a formed to protrude from the upper surface to mount a compressor 3 at both sides of a bottom plate 2 made of a synthetic resin. On the other hand, reinforcing materials 5 each having a horizontal part held by the holder 2b and the piece and a vertical part having an extended threaded part 5a corresponding to the insertion hole of the recess 2a at the one side end of the horizontal part are provided. The horizontal parts are held by the holder and the piece. At the vertical parts, the insertion holes, cylindrical elastic support members 7 and the legs 3 of the compressor 3 are inserted, and nuts are engaged with the threaded part 5a to elastically clamp the compressor 3, thereby reinforcing the strength of the plate in the lengthwise direction. |
