A photographic printer can process a plurality of films each housed in a separate cartridge concurrently with high efficiency. The printer has a base and a rotary table rotatably mounted on the base. Four cartridge holders are mounted on the rotary table along its circumference at angular intervals of 90 DEG . Mounted on the base around the rotary table are a cartridge supply unit, a scanner unit and a printing/exposure unit arranged opposite to three of the four cartridge holders, respectively. The scanner unit and the printing/exposure unit are provided separately from and driven independently of each other, so that the film processing steps in these units can be carried out concurrently.
