PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aromatic polyamide film or an aromatic polyimide film excellent in runnability, surface homogeneity and abrasion resistance during processing or in a product after processing. SOLUTION: This aromatic polyamide or polyimide film contains particles of a complex oxide mainly consisting of silicon, aluminum and at least one kind of alkali metal, in an amount of 0.005-10wt.% The particles consist of a compound whose contents of silicon (Si), aluminum (Al) and an alkali metal (M) satisfy formulae I to III, respectively, and have a volume-average particle diameter of 0.005-2μm. Formula I:10wt.%<=Si<=45wt.% Formula II:3wt%<=Al<=30 wt.% Formula III:0.5wt.%<=M<=20wt.%. |
