HEAT-RESISTANT RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR VIBRATION-PROOF RUBBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition mainly useful as a vibrationproof rubber, excellent in heat resistance and small in dynamic magnification. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a rubber component composed of 50-85 wt.% of a high-molecular weight EPDM having 100×10<4> to 200×10<4> weight-average molecular weight and 50-15wt.% of a low-molecular weight EPDM having <=40×10<4> weight-average molecular weight and is mixed with carbon black in an amount of a part number calculated by the equation Cb=100-0.65 EI [Cb is the amount (pts.wt.) of the carbon black blended and EI is the amount of the low-molecular weight EPDM blended] based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component.
