PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a low coefft. of thermal expansion, superior heat resistance, high strength and satisfactory flowability by using crystalline PbO-B2 O3 -ZnO-BaO glass powder, cordierite powder and willemite ceramic powder. SOLUTION: This compsn. consists of 40-90wt.% crystalline PbO-B2 O3 -ZnO- BaO glass powder, 1-20wt.% cordierite powder and 1-45wt.% willemite ceramic powder and has such a low coefft. of thermal expansion as <=50×10<-7> / deg.C. The glass powder consists of, by weight, 60-88% PbO, 1-15% B2 O3 , 7-20% ZnO, 1-5% BaO, 0-6% SiO2 , 0-3% Al2 O3 , 0-10% Bi2 O3 , 0-5% SrO, 0-5% TiO2 and 0-6% F2 , has 280-340 deg.C glass transition temp. and enables adhesion at <=540 deg.C. The ceramic powder consists of 68-75wt.% ZnO, 23-28wt.% SiO2 and 0.1-8wt.% Al2 O3 .
