PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate early execution work by arranging a shielding barrel part deforming means, and performing excavation propulsion and sheathing while respective surfaces opposed to a preceding structure of a quadrangular cylindrical shielding barrel part are following falling-down and a twist by an execution work error in the preceding structure. SOLUTION: A quadrangular cylindrical shielding barrel part 3, plural circular cutters 4, side cutters 5 suspended in a space 1 and an excavating material carrying-out means 6 are provided. A propelling means 7 using a preceding structure R as reaction, a sheathing means 8 to prevent the inflow of earth and sand to a clearance of the preceding structure R after excavation is propelled and a pressing means 9 to press a surface opposed to the preceding structure R of the shielding barrel part 3 to the preceding structure R are provided. Therefore, a shielding barrel part deforming means 10 to deform the shielding barrel part 3 is arranged so that the opposed surface and the preceding structure R can come into contact with each other. Therefore, excavation can be propelled while separating even a backfilling injection material unremovable by sticking to the preceding structure or the like without omission. |
