PRODUCTION OF COMPOST CONTAINING USEFUL MICROORGANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a functional compost containing an enough amt. of useful microorganisms by fermenting and cooling a compost material under each specified conditions, and holding or fermenting under specified conditions before and after adding useful microorganisms. SOLUTION: An org. material for a compost is fermented under such conditions that microorganisms existing in the material are sterilized. Then the material is forcedly cooled to the temp. at which useful microorganisms can be bred and useful microorganisms are added. Then the material is maintained or fermented under conditions to breed the useful microorganisms. As for the conditions to sterilize microorganisms, the org. material is preferably kept at >=55 deg.C for 3 or more days. As for the conditions to breed microorganisms, the material is preferably kept at <55 deg.C for 3 or more days, or succeedingly, kept at >55 deg.C for 3 or more days. The useful microorganisms are microorganisms which inhibit pathogemic becterium of plant.
