PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the miniaturization and cost reduction of an apparatus relatively simple in constitution and vibrating the surface of a toner support member and to stabilize the density of an output image. SOLUTION: An uneven member 24 having a large number of projections 24a is provided in the inner surface of a toner carrier 22 and a striking member 25 striking the projections 24a by the rotation of the toner carrier 22 is provided within the toner carrier 22. When the toner carrier 22 is rotated, the striking member 25 strikes the projections 24a on the downstream side in the rotary direction of the toner carrier 22 of the projections 24a having being in contact with the striking member 25. By this constitution, the surface of the toner carrier 22 is vibrated to reduce the bonding force of toner 21 to the toner carrier 22. If the striking member 25 is arranged so as to strike the projections 24a opposed to an opposed electrode 19, the bonding force of the toner 21 only within a toner flight region is reduced and sufficient toner feed quantity is ensured within a region other than the above mentioned region. |
