PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove the malodor contained in a waste gas discharged from a reaction vessel by providing a deodorizing and dehumidifying mechanism composed of a heater and a catalyst through a conduit on the upper part of the reaction vessel housing a microorganism and a microorganisms medium agent and joining the reaction vessel to the deodorizing and dehumidifying structure through a suction fan. SOLUTION: In the case of processing garbage, the garbage is charged from a feeding port of the reaction vessel 1 and a rotary shaft 2 is driven by a driving mechanism 3. Then, the garbage is mixed and stirred with a mixture 5 by the rotation of an impeller 4 provided on the rotary shaft 2 and by the heat of reaction generated in accordance therewith, a decomposition reaction into water and carbon dioxide is carried out to dissipate the garbage. In such a case, a gas accompanying the malodor in the reaction vessel 1 is introduced into the deodorizing and dehumidifying mechanism 8 through the conduit 6 and after deodorized by the heater 9 and the catalyst 10, discharged from a discharge port 11. And a fresh air is sucked into the deodorizing and dehumidifying mechanism 8 from a suction port 12 and further sucked by a suction fan 15 provided in a return pipe 14 to return to the resection vessel 1. |
