PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative image recording material capable of being directly processed from digital data, and having excellent shelf stability. SOLUTION: The negative image recording material consists of (A)-(D), and the (A) is a compound represented by formulas I-V (in the formulas, R1 , R2 , R4 and R5 are hydrocarbon groups, R3 is a hydrocarbon group or alkoxyl group, Ar1 , Ar2 are aryl groups, R6 is a bilatent hydrocarbon group, and (n) is an integer of 0-4 respectively), and (B) is a phenol derivative having two or more hydroxymethyl groups or alkoxymethyl groups in its molecule, containing 3-5 pieces of benzene nucleuses, and being 1,200 or lower in its molecular weight, (C) is an infrared ray absorber, and (D) is novolak resin. |
