PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dry desufurization equipment for a high sulfur gas, capable of preventing a decrease of a calorific value of a purified gas even in the case of using a high sulfur fuel. SOLUTION: This dry desufurization equipment has a desulfuring tower 11 for desulfuring a crude gas generated in a gasificating furnace 7 by using a desulfuring agent and for providing a purified gas, a regenerating tower 12 for regenerating the desulfuring agent and a particle circulation device 13 for circulating the desulfuring agent through the desulfuring tower 11 and the regenerating tower 12. Moreover, the equipment also has a reducing tower 16 for reducing the regenerated desulfuring agent by being brought into contact and reacted with the purified gas and a gas cycling line 18 for guiding the purified gas used in the reduction to the gasificating furnace 7.
