PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a composition, excellent in quality stability and useful for parts, etc., of household appliances with high productivity by adsorbing a readily handleable liquid additive on a compound having a specific particle diameter and then carrying out the stable melt extrusion with a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: (B) A liquid additive [e.g. an organophosphorus compound (B1 ), a plasticizer or stabilizer] is adsorbed on (A) a compound having 0.001-50μm number-average particle diameter e.g. a (porous) powder of a thermoplastic resin [concretely a polyphenylene ether (A1 )], a thermosetting resin or a metal (oxide)} and the melt extrusion thereof is carried out together with (C) a thermoplastic resin [e.g. a polystyrene-based resin (C1 ), a polyphenylene ethereal resin or polycarbonate-based resin]. Concretely, e.g. the porous powder A1 in an amount of 1-100 pts.wt. and the component B1 in an amount of 1-100 pts.wt. respectively based on 100 pts.wt. component C1 are used.
