PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition excellent in high hysteretic loss and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. conjugated diene copolymer such as a butadiene-styrene copolymer with (1) 10-100 pts.wt. process oil, (2) 3-100 pts.wt. crystalline trans polybutadiene having 1×10<4> to 10×10<4> weight-average molecular weight and >=70% trans content, (3) 3-100 pts.wt. low-molecular weight styrene-butadiene copolymer having 5×10<3> to 5×10<4> weight-average molecular weight and 60-80% styrene content and(4) 40-150pts.wt. carbon black.
