PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bending deformation from being generated and to increase the amt. of felt per unit area by placing a fibrous active carbon felt between hard porous bodies to make it into a zig-zag shape with specified aperture and a top part, and holding the outer peripheral edges of these porous bodies and the felt with a frame part material. SOLUTION: The whole face of a fibrous active carbon felt with a wt. of 50-500g/m<2> is placed between two sheets of hard porous bodies such as a metal net being bent into a zig-zag shape so as to make the aperture 50-90% and 30-120 top parts/m. In addition, the outer peripheral edges of the metal nets 5 and the fibrous active carbon felt 6 are held respectively with a frame part material 7 for holding a shape with a U-shaped cross-sectional shape. It is possible thereby to prevent the fibrous active carbon felt from being deformed by bending caused by the pressure of the gas to be processed and to increase the capacity of adsorption by shortening the interval between the top parts and to decrease pressure loss and to obtain a filter with a long life and good properties.
