<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vermilion seal ink with which a pigment is dispersed and stabilized for a long time without, sedimentation and the color shade is not changed and which exhibits excellent light resistance by mixing a castor oil (its derivative), a pigment and a specified phenolic compd. SOLUTION: A vermilion seal ink is obtd. by mixing a castor oil or/and a castor oil derivative (A), a pigment (B) and at least one substance selected from among phenolic compd. with a mol.wt. of at least 300. In addition, as the castor oil derivatives in the ingredient A, a castor oil polyhydric alcohol ether modified with an alkylene oxide or a castor oil fatty acid alkyl ester wherein the castor oil is modified with an alcohol is used. As the ingredient B, quinacridone red, cadmium red, etc., are pref.
