摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the pressure detection element of a torque sensor from being damaged caused by applying an excessive load and also to facilitate the assembly of the torque sensor. SOLUTION: A first and second rotation members 20, 30 are combined through an elastic member 42 so as to be communicated a torque each other, the torque communicated is detected by a pressure detection element 40 disposed between one of the rotation members 20, 30 and the elastic member 42, and a restriction means to prevent a relative rotation more than a predetermined amount is provided between both rotation members 20, 30. It is preferable that a stud 45 is supported slidably in the orthogonal direction to the rotation axis on a radially protruded projection 32 provided on either of the both rotation members 20, 30, the elastic member 42 is disposed by applying the initial load between both sides of the radially protruded projection 32 and the both end parts of the stud 45 protruding from the projection 32, and the pressure detection element 40 is disposed between the both ends of the stud 45 and the other rotation members 20, 30 opposed with the stud 45.</p>
