PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mechanism to use with a catheter for maintaining the axis directional position of the catheter and a guide wire by providing large and small diameter parts for an opening part formed at a cap part fixed to the base part of a pipe-like part. SOLUTION: A guide wire holder 10 is provided with a male-type lure adapter part and the cap part 14, the cap part 14 forms an end face and a side face, and the end face forms the opening part 17 communicated with a lumen. On the other hand, the opening part 17 is provided with the large and small diameter parts 17a and 17b. Thereby at the time of matching the guide wire with the large diameter part 17a, the guide wire freely moves within the large diameter part 17a. At the time of moving the guide wire within the small diameter part 17b after properly matching the guide wire and the catheter in the direction of an axis line, the edge part of the small diameter part 17b is mechanically and frictionally engaged with the guide wire to restrain effectively. |
