PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-down seating device capable of collecting and developing frames with simple operation by completely eliminating conventional folding-down mechanisms using a bracket for turning and inversion operation and by employing a new slide system. SOLUTION: A folding-down seating device is vertically folded down by means of a slider 7. Namely, an electric motor 13 is secured to a leg at its upper portion. A gear 13d provided on the rotating shaft 13a of the electric motor 13 rotates a fixed nut 8. A screw shaft 9 screwed into the fixed nut 8 longitudinally moves. The slider 7 provided on a rear leg 3 at its outer periphery is fixed through a locking segment 9a to the screw shaft 9 at its lower end. This fixing is done through a guiding long hole formed in the rear leg 3 in the longitudinal direction. Thus, the slider 7 moves along the rear leg 3 in the longitudinal direction. Vertically moving the slider 7 accompanying with the rotation of the electric motor 13 folds down or develops the seating device. |
