PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the continuous preparation of rapidly boiled rice, the avoiding of variance of the filling quantity on packing and the prevention of contamination with sundry germs. SOLUTION: A washing tank 3 for raw rice, an immersing tank 4, a hot-water shower chamber 5 and a dripping section 6 are placed in a serial order below a steaming section 2 whose lower side is open. A transferring conveyor 7 is placed in an endless and rotatable state. The transferring conveyor 7 hangs and supports steaming basket-transferring apparatuses 10 each holding and transporting a steaming basket for filling the raw rice in a constant quantity with a constant pitch, and the conveyor 7 circulates from the washing tank 3, via the immersing tank 4, the hot-water shower chamber 5 and the dripping section 6, and to the steaming section 2. The raw rice filled in a steaming basket is transferred from the washing tank 3, via the immersing tank 4, the hot-water shower chamber 5 and the dripping section 6, and to the steaming section 2, in a serial order, and the rice is quickly boiled. |
