PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fiber and differently shrunk blended weaving yarn to simultaneously present excellent fibrillation resistance, dry feeling and bouncy feeling, and to obtain a fabric using this fiber. SOLUTION: This polyester fiber is provided with rib-like grooves extending along the fiber axis, whose formation frequency has a distribution in respective filaments which constitute the polyester fiber so that, in every circumferential 5-μm length on a sectional face of each element, a ratio (Gmax/Gmin) of the maximum number Gmax of rib-like grooves to the minimum number Gmin of the rib-like grooves is inclusive within a range of 1.5-15.0. |
