PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connecting strengths of connectors by cutting out the unmelted ends of both composite sheets in pectinated state, superposing the cut-out parts, and hot pressing it, thereby forming the thicknesses of the connectors substantially the same as those of the sheets. SOLUTION: Glass roving is guided by a plurality of guide bars from a plurality of bobbins, introduced into a fluidized bed, and resin powder of floated state is impregnated among fibers while opening the fibers by supplying suitable amount of wind to obtain composite sheets 10 via a heating roll. The rovings of winding starting part 10a and winding ending part 10b of the sheets 10 are cut out in a pectinated state. In this case, both the cutouts 102a, 102b and pectinated parts 101a, 101b of the sheets 10 are deviated and cutout so as to be satisfactorily engaged with each other. The parts 10a and 10b of the sheets 10 are superposed so as to satisfactorily engage the cutouts and pectinated parts of the both, and hot pressed to connect the both. |
