The collision block (1) has cavities (2, 3, 4) in the flat surface, and by virtue of the tube system (6), the cavities can be evacuated for producing a vacuum in them for retention of the block against the base. The flat surface of the block is provided with a friction coating (5). The cavities are formed as parallel tracks with a rectangular cross-section. They are sealed at their ends by sealing components. Dependent upon different test procedures, e.g. weight and speed in the test vehicle, by selection of different vacuums the friction of the collision block can be varied against the base. Alternatively, it is possible for the inherent weight of the collision block to be reduced in order to create a specific friction force. |
