<p>A fuse which is improved in reliability and can be automatically manufactured. The fuse is provided with an internal cap (14) between a glass tube (12) and a cap terminal (13) and a passage (22) for communication of the inside of the tube (12) with the air between the cap (14) and tube (12). The end section (15a) of a fuse element (15) is led out to the space between the terminal (13) and cap (14) through an element passing hole (14b) formed through the bottom plate (14a) of the cap (14) and electrically connected to at least the terminal (13).
