A modular window system for lightweight mounted structures is composed of window modules consisting of frames (8), on whose pairs of opposed vertical or oblique members (1) on the outside peripheral surface a longitudinal groove (7) having a circle segment profile is shaped, into which at least one round-eye joint (3) is inserted, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of said groove (7). A connecting element (5) is made on the pair of opposed horizontal members for connecting with the adjacent window modules. The side-by-side adjacent window modules are connected by a tubular member (9) pushed through the round-eye joints (3).
