<p>Novel thiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives represented by general formula (I); salts of the derivatives; and diabetes remedies containing the same, wherein R1 is cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, naphthyl, or a heterogeneous mono- or bicyclic group containing one or more atoms selected from among nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur; R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, halogeno, hydroxy, (optionally protected) amino, phenyl or -(CH2)n- (wherein n is 2 to 6); and A is an amide linkage.</p> |
