<p>A recording/reproducing apparatus for recording additional information such as file names, titles of musical compositions, etc., on a surface different from that of main information such as image information, an electronic mail, etc., or recording dividedly additional information on the storage surface of the main information and on a different surface, using the upper, lower and side surfaces of a recording medium. The additional information such as file names and the titles of musical compositions can be recorded/reproduced without recording/reproducing information on the surface of the recording medium on which the main information such as image signals, sound signals, electronic mail information, etc., are recorded. Further, the additional information such as file names and index information can be recorded/reproduced while a plurality of such a recording media are stacked.</p> |
