A method and device for manufacturing resin-coated metal plates with good economy and yield without wasting any resin and metal plates. Since this object is achieved through two economic effects obtained by saving a process by effecting film forming and laminating a film so formed onto a metal plate in the same process and by restraining the waste of materials such as resin and metal plates as much as possible, a set resin film extruded from a T-die is not laminated onto a metal plate until the thickness of the set resin film becomes stable. In other words, the set resin film is first taken up, and it is not until the film thickness becomes stable that the set resin film is laminated onto the surface of a heated metal plate. This method can prevent the generation of defective resin-coated metal plates having a set resin film with non-uniform thickness laminated thereon, improve the yield of the resin-coated metal plates, and reduce the waste of materials. In addition, the set resin film that is kept taken up until its thickness becomes stable can be recycled when it is re-fused, and this can further reduce the loss of material (resin).
|
