<p>A lockset for the locking in a closed position of a closure. The lockset has a lock body (10) adapted for the mounting of one or more of a latch (43) and a throw bolt (42) and a drive element (20) for operating at least one shoot bolt. There is provided an operating mechanism operable by a locking mechanism. The operating mechanism includes a primary drive element (20) operable by the locking mechanism. A drive transfer element (37) is operable to transfer drive from the primary drive element (20) to a secondary drive element (31). The drive transfer element is able to operate a throw bolt (42) and the primary and/or secondary drive elements (20 and 31) enabling the operation of at least one shoot bolt.</p> |
