Coating a carrier with layer of synthetic diamond phase

The method of coating of a carrier with a layer of a synthetically produced diamond phase, involves providing a carrier made of glass, ceramic, metal or a material containing hydrocarbons, introducing the carrier into an activated carbon-bearing gas, and precipitating a layer of synthetic diamond phase onto the carrier. The novelty is that a charge is formed of carriers in the form of particles which are subjected to translational and rotational motions while being provided with a closed surface layer in the precipitation process. Also claimed are resultant composites and applications of such composites.
