Production of solid porous lignite fuels

Production of solid porous lignite fuels comprises: (a) cracking xylite-contg. lignite in a mechanical process into fibrous xylite and lignite base composition; (b) comminuting and classifying the fibrous xylite and lignite separately to a specified fineness; (c) combining the fibrous xylite and the lignite by intensively mixing with simultaneous addition of water, aq. solutions or dispersions; (d) moulding or agglomerating under low pressure the mixture; and (e) drying the moulded or agglomerate.
