The tampon consists of a small pouch for absorbent product (1) of rounded shape and covered with a permeable dressing (2) projecting around the small pouch (1) forming a flat annulus (3), a small cord for withdrawal (6) being attached to the inside of the said pouch (1) to come out between the said pouch and the said annulus (3).
