Bus subscriber's plug-in arrangement

The arrangement of a programmable control is provided with socket outlets (1a,1b...1j) for the bus subscribers. It includes a central rack (2) and an extension rack (3). The socket outlets are connected together by a serial bus (4). The bus is connected with the corresponding bus lines in the rack (3) by a terminal unit (6) of the central rack (2), a cable (7) and the terminal unit (8) of the extension rack. The terminal units have coding switches for setting a rack address for the racks. The code goes to the parallel bus (5) and the coding contacts (9) of the sockets are intended for setting the socket codes on the potential lines.
