The house terminal includes an elongate housing base, fitted over part of its length with a cover which defines a reception pocket for a remote control transmitter. The terminal allows stationary operation of the garage door drive in conjunction with the portable remote control transmitter. The cover incorporates display elements (4) and a number of sound openings for an internal sound signal source. Several keys on the cover supply radio commands to the door operating drive for operating the door.
