Welding and sealing unit forming e.g. filled pouches from plastic lay-flat tubing

This novel unit welds and separates a lay-flat tube, using moving welding jaws, in which a separating device moves against the jaw. The separator (18) and jaws (15) have an adjuster (20) and mechanism (41) to move them parallel to both the welding surfaces (21) and the tube direction. The separator projects out towards the lay-flat tubing (7) and can be retracted in the opposite direction.
