To produce a running roller, especially for a rollerblade, the material forming the roller mantle is brought into the mould through at least one passage opening at the inner peripheral surface of the hub. Also claimed is a running roller where the hub (10) has at least one passage opening (24) at its inner peripheral surface (12a), for the material to form the roller mantle to pass through on moulding to the outer peripheral surface (14a) of the hub (10).
