Dust can be completely eliminated from powdered hair-bleach agents by the addition of 0.1 - 3,9 wt.% in relation to the whole of the agent of special ethers of general formula (I) X-O-Y, in which X and Y are, mutually independently, linear and branched, saturated or mono or polyunsaturated alkyl groups with 4 to 18 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl, alkyl cycloalkyl or alkoxy cycloalkyl groups, or cycloalkyl alkyl groups with 8 to 22 carbon atoms, with the proviso that the melting point of the ether is below 60 DEG C.
