The terminating resistance unit for telecommunication connection units, and especially for integrated services digital network (ISDN) systems, has a housing (12) with a cover (30) and a release lock. Within the housing are fixed at least one initial U-shaped bent resistance (16.1) and at least one further second similar resistance (16.2). Recesses (34,36), at an end side of the housing, allow the connecting wires (20.1,20.2) of the resistances (16.1,16.2) to pass through outwards in parallel.
