Adjustable telescopic leg for beds, chairs or tables

The lifting and support system is shaped as a vertical telescopic column. It has a flat baseplate (1) and a flat top plate (30). The largest diameter tubular member (2) is solidly attached to the baseplate. There is a slightly smaller diameter intermediate tube (32) which fits inside it, and there is a top tube (31), rigidly attached to the top plate and fitting inside the intermediate tube. There is a planetary gear train (6) inside the tubes, connected to a central threaded rod which lifts up the top plate.
