FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: container has outer and inner cylindrical envelopes with bottom plates. Space between envelopes is filled with heavy concrete and is provided with hermetically sealing overlap. Reinforcement in form of grid and gas pipes connected with ring manifold are placed inside concrete filler. Grid is formed by ring and longitudinal metal rods. Gas pipes and manifold are made in form of metal ducts. Channel made in overlap communicates with manifold and is brought out of container. Channel is covered from outside with hydrogen permeable diaphragm. Flame arrestor installed in channel is made in form of gas permeable gravel plug in one of design versions. EFFECT: improved reliability of protection of container from breakage caused by hydrogen pressure rise inside concrete caused by radiolitic decomposition or corrosion of metal. 3 cl, 1 dwg
