PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of dust into a magnetic fluid due to cleaning work and to avoid the sealing effect from being lost by providing a magnetic fluid injection hole opened obliquely and having a step toward a gap between a shaft and a pole piece of the magnetic fluid seal to a hub of a disk drive motor and providing a piston pushing the magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic fluid injection hole 45 opened obliquely and having a step toward the gap between the shaft and pole pieces 411, 412 in the hub 37 of the disk drive motor and a guide 57 fitted thereto and a magnetic fluid injection jig 50 having a piston 54 pressing out the magnetic fluid while being fitted closely to a pipe 53 penetrated through the said guide are provided. After the cleaning of the motor is finished, the magnetic fluid is injected from the magnetic fluid injection hole 45 by using the injection jig 50 to inject the magnetic fluid to the seal after dust is blown off by a compressed air. Thus, dust to be mixed in the magnetic fluid R is not in existence and the loss of seal effect is avoided. |
